Physical Exams and Evaluations

Our Providers can perform a variety of routine and specialized checkups.

You can walk into any of our clinic any day of the week to have a physical exam. However, to speed up your visit  can make an appointment at our Havelock Clinic on line or please call either location  to make an appointment.  Both of our urgent care locations offer a full variety of physical examinations to suit your needs including:

  • Annual Physical Exam
  • School, Sports & Camp Physicals
  • Pre-Employment and General Employee Health Exams
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals

Please bring any required paperwork at the time of your visit so we may complete it for you during the exam. Many exams require a doctor’s signature on the form that the employer, camp, activity, school, sport or DOT provides so this step is very important.

Corporate Care: Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation

We supports the employers and employees in our communities.
Our Employer Services focus on job-related medical issues, workplace injuries,

pre and ongoing employment issues and urgent care. Employees can walk into any of our urgent care center any day of the week for evaluation and treatment. No appointment is necessary. However, to speed up your visit  can make an appointment at our Havelock Clinic on line or please call either location  to make an appointment.

 We offer:

  • Treatment of workplace injuries such as sprains, strains and breaks, lacerations and wounds, eye injuries, and burns
  • Diagnostic services such as drug screenings, tuberculosis tests, EKGs, X-rays
  • Physical exams such as pre-employment and new hire exams, physical capabilities assessments, return to work clearances, annual and periodic exams

When it comes to workers’ compensation, we establish a close partnership with the employer to figure out the best plan of action for their injured employee, adhering to your company’s workers’ comp protocols and coordinating outside medical referrals when necessary.

In addition, many of our employer clients send their employees in for standard Occupational Medicine services like pre-employment screenings, physicals, drug tests and more. The fact that we’re open on evenings and weekends means that employees can be seen at their convenience outside of their employer’s work hours, and they can get back to work faster, feeling happier and healthier.

Don’t Chance Getting Sick During Flu Season

Walk into any of our urgent care clinic to get your flu shot.

We have  got you covered during flu season. Our influenza vaccinations are quick, inexpensive and they’re the easiest and most effective way to avoid getting the flu. Be sure to get inoculated early to give yourself the most protection. The flu is one of the most well known viruses. According to the Centers for Disease Control:

·          Symptoms of the flu include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, fatigue and/or vomiting and diarrhea.
·          The virus spreads mainly when people who have the flu cough, sneeze or talk, releasing droplets that land in the mouths or noses of people nearby, who then become infected.
·          Most adults are contagious 1 day before flu symptoms appear to up to 7 days after symptoms begin.
·          Flu vaccinations greatly reduce your chances of getting the flu. They work by causing the body to develop antibodies that provide protection against the virus starting about two weeks after the vaccination is administered.
·          Everyone six months and older should get a flu shot this season.

The flu virus is highly contagious. By getting a flu shot this season you’re not only helping to protect yourself against catching the flu, you’re also helping to protect your loved ones and your community.

Note that if you are currently sick, you cannot get the flu shot, but come into our clinic and we can screen you for the flu with a rapid influenza test. If you do have the flu and we catch it in the first couple of days then we can give you a prescription antiviral to treat the virus. If it turns out not to be the flu then we can help treat the symptoms and get you feeling better faster. Once your symptoms resolve then you can come back for a flu shot.
